Public Transport & Parking
Public transport is the recommended way to access White Night Geelong. But if you plan to drive, be aware that there will be road closures in place and car parking will be limited – drivers are encouraged to take advantage of the Park & Ride services on offer.

Trains will run to a normal timetable between Melbourne, Geelong and Waurn Ponds until midnight. Additional trains depart Geelong for Melbourne at 11.32pm and 12.17am.
Melbourne – Additional coaches will run from Geelong to Melbourne at 1am, 2am and 3am.
Geelong – Coaches will run from Geelong to Waurn Ponds (via South Geelong and Marshall) at 2am and 3am.
Regional Towns – To Geelong: Coaches will depart from Lorne (via Anglesea) and Colac (via Winchelsea) to Geelong at 6pm, 7.30pm and 9pm.
To Lorne and Colac: Coaches will depart from Geelong to Lorne (via Anglesea) and Colac (via Winchelsea) at 10pm, midnight and 2am.
All V/Line coaches will arrive and depart from Geelong Station.
Buses in Geelong will run to their normal timetable until 9pm. From 6pm we’re running ten White Night bus routes every 30 to 60 minutes until 3am from the Geelong town centre. These routes run to and from the bus hub on Moorabool Street. White Night buses will pick up and drop off at various existing bus stops along these routes. Stops being serviced will be clearly marked with pink White Night Geelong signage.
No White Night buses will pick up or drop off from Geelong Station. You will need to touch on your Myki on White Night bus services.

Cruise across the bay for an adventure to the first ever White Night Geelong, direct from Docklands, Melbourne. Arrive directly at the heart of the action – departing Docklands at 5.20pm and arriving Geelong at 7pm. Return trip departs Geelong at 10.30pm and arrives Docklands at 12.10am.

There will be three Park & Rides buses in Geelong running express to and from the White Night precinct from 6pm – 3am. Park & Ride is a free service and will run every 15 minutes depending on demand. You can park your car and catch an express bus to the Moorabool Street bus hub from:
- Bunnings, North Geelong
- Bunnings, Leopold
- Leisurelink Aquatic Recreation Centre, Waurn Ponds

There will be a taxi rank operating during the event on Moorabool Street, between Little Malop Street and Malop Street.
Road closures will be in place to ensure safe and easy pedestrian movement. Parking may be affected. View the map for details.
Accessible parking will be available off Smythe Street. Cars displaying a Disabled Persons Parking Permit can enter from the corner of Western Beach Road and Cavendish Street.
Please note parking is limited and may fill early.
